Token2049 Dubai Organizer: Despite Escalating Middle East Conflict, Conference Will Proceed as Planned

BlockBeats News, March 10th, according to Fortune report, the organizers of Token2049 Dubai stated that despite ongoing escalations in the Middle East, one of the largest crypto conferences scheduled for this spring will still proceed as planned.

A spokesperson for the event stated: "Token2049 Dubai is still on track, with all preparations progressing smoothly for the event at the end of April. Registration indicates the event is close to being sold out, and the exhibition venue has been fully confirmed. Our preparations with the venue and partners are proceeding as planned."

Previously, due to escalating conflicts in the Middle East, several conferences and sporting events have been postponed or canceled. Last week, after the U.S.-Israel strike on Iran, parts of Dubai's major airport were damaged, with missile debris falling on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah, injuring 4 people. Token2049 Dubai is seen as one of the largest annual crypto events, with this year's speakers including Eric Trump, son of U.S. President Trump, Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan, and usdt-257">Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, among others. Last year, the event attracted over 15,000 attendees.
