「Abraxas Capital」 continues to add to its short position on gold, with holdings across two addresses now totaling $18.8 million
BlockBeats News, February 5th, according to HyperInsight monitoring, Abraxas Capital's main address (0x5b5) continued to add to its xyz:GOLD (gold mapping contract) short position at a spot gold price of around $4867. The position size has expanded to $9.18 million, with an average price of $4786 and a liquidation price of $6,785. In addition, its subsidiary address (0xb83) currently holds a 5x leveraged short position in xyz:GOLD, with an average price of $4887.
Abraxas Capital was once the largest contract whale on Hyperliquid. Since November, the address has been continuously taking profit, and its position size has been significantly reduced from a peak of $920 million to a current size of around $60 million.
